I have had so much fun sharing my life with each and every one of you. I appreciate you taking time out of your day to listen to me :) Each new day brings us new adventures. Once again, my path is changing and I have learned to listen to myself and trust myself on my journey.
I have decided to change the look and feel of my website as I am energized by health coaching and truly want to expand my business. I am in the process of creating a new website and blog that will premier on March 1. With this new website comes new beginnings for me as a health coach and as a Reiki practitioner. I am so excited to be on this journey and want to continue sharing with you.
I invite you to explore my new website once it is launched. My goal is to reach out to others across the world and help them achieve their health and wellness goals. Please help spread the word and experience working with a health coach yourself. I also invite you to experience Reiki with me as I learn to become a practitioner. It is an amazing healing journey!
I look forward to crossing paths with you in my new environment. Be well!

life force energy
As I have been going through my healing journey, I have felt as though I am on the right path, but that I was still not feeling complete. I was feeling like I was not balanced and that I was trying to force something that was not there for me. I have had to make some decisions that have not been that easy. Once I made them though and followed through on them, I felt lighter and happier. I have found that if I listen to my body and the universe, that I feel like I am me. I feel like I am finally on the path that I need to be.
My resolution this year is to take things off my plate that do not need to be there. This means being a little bit more selfish as I am choosing to do what fulfills me and makes me happy. It is powerful! I finally feel clear and free. My body is healing and I can understand what I need so much better because I am not clouding it with what I think I should do to make others happy. I am making me happy.
Here are some of the fun and exciting things I have planned for myself and you this year! I hope you choose to come along.
1. I am going to surround myself with positive people. Of course there are things, days and people who will not be positive, but I now know how to interact with people and go through the situations so they no longer make me feel bad.
2. In fact, by choosing to do this, I have found that I am creating wonderful connections with other alternative healing practitioners and regular joes all around :) I am excited to see who I meet next!
3. I am jumping head first into health coaching. This is an amazingly uplifting career for me. I am energized by being able to provide support and guidance to others. The beautiful part is that I can offer this to people while they remain in the comfort of their own home or on a lunch break at work.
4. I am going to become a Reiki practitioner and learn from an amazing person! I am so lucky to have met her and have her be the one to teach me. I cannot wait to share that with you all!
5. With this exciting stuff going on, I have decided to revamp my website and blog. Please be patient with me as I do this. This transformation is important for me as I move forward. I will keep you up to date on what is going on.
I hope that each and everyone of you is well. I invite you to continue on this journey with me and would love to be your support.
One thing you can do is to start by reflecting on what is happening in your life. Are you feeling balanced? Do you need to make some changes to get on the right path for you? If so, what are those changes and how are you going to do it?
Take care & be well!

staying healthy
Winter time is always my most dreaded time of the year. While I love the holidays and playing in the snow, it means it is the time for sickness to go around. I am not an advocate for the flu shot, so my family and I take precautions in other, natural ways to keep us healthy. I want to share those with you to hopefully help you through this season!
- Wash your hands! This is so simple to do. It is the friction of washing your hands that removes the germs. So sing yourself "Happy Birthday" or "A,B,Cs" 2 times through to make sure you are washing long enough.
- If your ears are hurting, take a couple of ounces of olive oil and throw in a fresh garlic clove. Heat this baby up for 20 seconds in the microwave. Let it cool just a bit to warm. Using a dropper (best) or a Qtip (be gentle and careful!) drop or place the oil into your ears. You can keep it in there with cotton. Gently massage the outside of your ears and from under your earlobe down the side of your neck. Do this a few times a day and the pain will go away! Never save the garlic oil for later. Always make fresh. Garlic is an antioxidant with anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and anti-fungal properties. If you try this, it will decrease the inflammation and pain even if you do not have an infection.
- Drink warm fluids. The best is to warm up some water and put lemon and/or honey in it. If you like tea, try some lemon or ginger tea. These have anti-bacterial/anti-viral properties that are great for fighting off bad germs.
- If you find that you have a sore throat, gargle a few times a day with salt water. Salt draws the moisture out of the area where bacteria likes to set up shop. It is also useful for drawing the moisture out of swollen tissue so the inflammation goes down.
- For a cough, take a teaspoon of honey or a honey stick! Honey is an anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-fungal. Just be sure not to give this to children under the age of 1.
- Neti pot- this is the rinsing of your sinuses with salt water. Be sure to use a pre-made packet or make your own! Mix 1/8 to 1/4 tsp of non-iodized salt into 8 oz of warm filtered or distilled water. Do this a couple of times a day to prevent bacteria from staying in there and growing.
- Good old chicken soup or broth also has some anti-bacterial properties that will help you feel better sooner.
- Get plenty of rest! You need 7-9 hours a night to stay healthy, so if you are feeling rundown, increase your sleeping time.
- Drink lots of water. Keep your body hydrated so it can keep fighting against the yucky germs out there!
- Take a good quality vitamin C supplement. This will give your body needed nutrients to fight against bacteria.
- Take a good quality probiotic to keep your digestive system running well. By adding more good flora to your gut, you improve your chances of remaining illness free.
Be well!
