impeccable word

The Four Agreements......Be impeccable with your word. This is the first agreement that Miguel Ruiz teaches us about. He writes about how this is saying what you mean. To be aware that your word is so powerful that you can create amazing things or destroy things in the blink of an eye. We should live our lives in truth and share our words with others to create, learn, teach, inspire and be true to ourselves and everyone we come in contact with. This helps create love in the world not hate. Hate can be created if our words are used for evil. In my space, it is for love. There will not be any hurtful, destructive words shared. We are not able to be free to heal if we are not impeccable with our word.

What does this mean to me? If am able to be impeccable with my word, it gives me the power to be true and enjoy life. It offers me the opportunity to free myself of negativity and offers me freedom. Freedom to run with my dreams and leave fear behind. By leaving fear behind, I am able to transform myself and live the life I want to live.

As I struggle with my fear of food and letting that fear grip me so tightly that I cannot take a step outside of the box fear has built for me, the possibility of something like speaking with integrity being able to give me the power to live my life in a joyous and loving manner is awe inspiring. I turn my impeccable word towards myself and say that the truth is that food will heal me.

The truth is that there are going to be ups and downs in finding out what food my body sees as harmful and as healthy.

This truth to myself will bring me comfort and the power to take a step outside the box of fear. It may be a small step or two, but it is still a step towards healing and living my life the way I dream of living it.

My journey will be long, and I am ok with that because I know that the first step, the small step starts with my impeccable word and can only direct me in the right direction to healing, love and joy.

Can you make this agreement? Are you ready to live your dream and take the first step with your impeccable word? Please share your thoughts.
