Gratitude

This is the time of year where we think about what we are thankful for. Gratitude can be a very powerful action. Even if you take a few minutes each day or once a year to reflect on the things, people, experiences, opportunities, and more that you are thankful for, you will discover the power of gratitude. It can ground you, lift your self-esteem and confidence, warm your core with love, and help you to see how beautiful and amazing life is.  With this being Thanksgiving week, I thought I would take a moment and share with you my list of gratitude.

  1. I am thankful for my family and the support and love they offer me each day as I go through life's journey.
  2. I am thankful for my home to keep me warm and safe.
  3. I am thankful for my friends that provide me with joy, comfort, support, and a place to let my feelings be set free.
  4. I am thankful for my new friends who have amazing spirits and warmth. I am grateful for their kindness, support, and compassion.
  5. I am thankful for myself and my courage to face each day with new strength and to continue to move forward in my healing journey.
  6. I am thankful for my son and the precious gifts he provides me - learning and experiencing life through a child's eyes.
  7. I am thankful for my husband and the clarity and encouragement he gives me every day.
  8. I am thankful that I am able to provide for my family.
  9. I am thankful that I am able to use my skills to help support and encourage others like being able to share my story with all of you.
  10. I am thankful that I am me.
Please take a few minutes now and write your list of gratitude. It can be something that you share or something that you tuck away in a safe place and pull out to read on those tough days. It is quite freeing and empowering to do this.

Have a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving!
